When tracking Chinese visa processing status, normally you’ll see 4 stages status of processing as following: Accepted -> In Review -> To be returned -> Returned
But now it’s: Accepted -> In Review -> Pending collection -> Returned
The difference is stage no. 3 from “To be returned” to “Pending collection”. Although the words change but they still have the same meaning that “Your passport is ready to collect”
Here is the meaning of full stage according to the latest tracking status:
📌ACCEPTED: your application is successfully submitted. Note: passport will be kept during processing time for visa stamping
📌IN REVIEW: your application under assessment by china embassy
📌PENDING COLLECTION: assessment is finished and application has result (granted/rejected). You can visit visa center to collect passport back. You will know result when collect passport
📌RETURNED: your passport is successfully returned
