Visa Vietnam for Australians

Citizen of Australia required a valid visa to enter Vietnam. For short-term visit, there 3 types of visa: 

1/ VIETNAM EVISA 

• Purpose of entry: tourism, business

• Validity: 90 days, single or multiple entry

• Processing duration: 3-5 working days. Excluding applying date, Saturday, Sunday and holiday

In case you're rush, there are also options to expedite processing duration: 1 hour/ 4 hours/ 1 working day/ 2 working days

• Required documents:

  1. scan passport biodata page

  2. soft copy or selfie photo in 4x6cm size, white background

• Visa fee: USD25/single entry; USD50/multiple entry 

2/ VISA ON ARRIVAL 

This visa required apply through an agent as a sponsor for you

• Purpose of entry: tourism

• Validity: 15 or 30 days, single entry

• Processing duration: 1 working day. Excluding Saturday, Sunday, and holiday

• Required documents:

1. scan passport biodata page

2. soft copy or selfie photo in 4x6cm size, white background

Upon arrival, stamp visa at Vietnam International Airport

• Required documents to stamp visa at airport

1. 1. Printed Pre-visa Approval letter

   2. valid passport

   3. 2 photos 4x6cm in size, white background

• Visa stamping fee: USD25/single entry; USD50/multiple entry

3/ VISA AT THE EMBASSY 

• Purpose of entry: working

This visa required apply through your employer in Vietnam as a sponsor for you

• Validity: 90-day, single entry or multiple entry

• Processing duration: 5-7 working days. Excluding Saturday, Sunday, and holiday

• Required documents:

1. Applicant: scan passport biodata page

2. Employer: NA2 online form

If approved, a Pre-visa approval letter will be granted. After having that Approval letter, you visit Vietnam embassy to stamp visa

• Required documents to stamp visa at embassy

1. Printed Pre-visa Approval letter

2. valid passport

3. 2 photos 4x6cm in size, white background

• Visa stamping fee: USD25/single entry; USD50/multiple entry
