In general, Chinese visa is a sticker visa stamped on your passport and issued by China embassy/consulate
Some countries enjoy Chinese 15-30 day visa free. However, if you want to stay in China more than that, you may need to apply for a visa
Chinese tourist visa or sometimes called Chinese L visa which applicable for independent or tourist group with the main purpose of entry is tourism, vacation, and sightseeing.
For most nationality, Chinese tourist visa is valid for 3 months from issued date, single entry, stay 30 day in China
For American and Canadian ordinary passport holder, the visa can up to 1-10 years validity with double/multiple entry
How to apply for Chinese visa?
Step 1: Prepare all the papers
Passport with at least six months of remaining validity and with at least 2 pieces of blank visa page for stamping visa
2 photos, white background, size 48mm x 33mm
Foreigner in Vietnam: Vietnam visa/TRC/Work Permit (optional)
Vietnamese: National ID card, So ho khau or CT07/CT08, Approval for leave + Employee confirmation letter confirmed by employer (sign & stamp) / Bank statement last 3 months

Step 2: Submit documents at Chinese visa center
It takes about 20 minutes to submit above papers at visa center.
After submitting successfully, you pay VND 690,000 and get a receipt with expected date result released
Note: Passport will be kept during processing time for visa stamping if granted
Step 3: Come back visa center to collect passport and visa
As expected date receive result on receipt, you visit visa center to collect passport. If visa granted, you pay visa fee and finish. Welcome to China!
Chinese business visa or Chinese M visa is applicable for following entry purposes: Business activities; Participation in Competition; Other commercial activities
