Urgent China visa in Vietnam

From this 2026, China urgent visa is available again in Vietnam.
Following that, processing time is updated as follows:
Standard: 12-18 working days, excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
Urgent: 8-10 working days, excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays.

Visa Duration
Normally, China visa (L) is valid for 3 months from issued date, single entry, stay 30 days in China (extendable).
American and Canadian passport holders particularly can get 10 year visa, multiple entry.

Passport, with at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages.
File + 2 photos 48x33mm, white background
Old China visa (if any)
Copy of Sổ hộ khẩu or original CT07/CT08
Copy of national ID (CCCD)
For foreigners in Vietnam:
Passport, with at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages.
File + 2 photos 48x33mm, white background

Visa Duration
Normally, China visa (L) is valid for 3 months from issued date, single entry, stay 30 days in China.
It might facilitate the Embassy to issue a multiple-entry visa for half a year to you if you could provide copies of your previous identical visas and enter & exit records if you have ever been granted half a year multiple-entry visa before.
American and Canadian passport holders particularly can get 10 year visa, multiple entry.

Proof of legal stay:
Foreigner: Vietnam visa/ TRC/ Work permit

Supporting Documents:
Business invitation letter issued by a trade partner in China, or trade fair invitation, etc.
Chinese company business license.
For Employee: Letter of assignment from the employer
For Employer: Copy of Company business license
