China tourist visa (L) in Vietnam

1. Visa Duration

Normally, China visa (L) is valid for 3 months from issued date, single entry, stay 30 days in China (extendable). 

American and Canadian passport holders particularly can get 10 year visa, multiple entry.

2. Documents Required:

For Vietnamese:

• Passport, with at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages.

• File + 2 photos 48x33mm, white background

• Old China visa (if any)

• Copy of Sổ hộ khẩu or original CT07/CT08

• Copy of national ID (CCCD)

For foreigners in Vietnam: 

• Passport, with at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages.

• File + 2 photos 48x33mm, white background

• Old China visa (if any)

• Vietnam visa/ TRC 

• Work permit (if you have)

China Business visa (M) in Vietnam

1. Visa Duration

Normally, China visa (L) is valid for 3 months from issued date, single entry, stay 30 days in China.

It might facilitate the Embassy to issue a multiple-entry visa for half a year to you if you could provide copies of your previous identical visas and enter & exit records if you have ever been granted half a year multiple-entry visa before.

American and Canadian passport holders particularly can get 10 year visa, multiple entry.

2. Documents Required:

Personal required docs:

• Passport, with at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages.

• File + 2 photos 48x33mm, white background

• Old China visa (if any)

• Proof of legal stay: 

  • Foreigner: Vietnam visa/ TRC/ Work permit

  • Vietnamese: Copy of Sổ hộ khẩu or original CT07/CT08 and Copy of national ID (CCCD)

Supporting Documents:

• Business invitation letter issued by a trade partner in China, or trade fair invitation, etc.

• Chinese company business license.

• For Employee: Letter of assignment from the employer

• For Employer: Copy of Company business license
